Humorist-playwright Sedaris will discuss his career and his creative process. The A&E program will also feature interviews with musician Lisa Marie Presley, "Queen of Swing" Keely Smith and conductor-pianist Lalo Schifrin as well as a segment on the upcoming animated feature "Madagascar." David Sedaris made his National Public Radio debut in 1992 reading excerpts from his "SantaLand Diaries," which recounts his time spent as an elf clad in green tights at Macy's. He and his sister Amy comprise a two-person theatre company, The Talent Family. Together, they are responsible for such witty, often hilarious productions as Stitches, One Woman Show, Stump the Host, Stitches, Incident at Cobbler's Knob and The Book of Liz. Some of Sedaris' best-selling collections include the aforementioned "Naked," "Me Talk Pretty One Day" and "Barrel Fever."
Hosted by Elliott Forrest, "Breakfast with the Arts" airs from 8-10 AM ET on A&E. Check local listings or visit www.aetv.com for more information.
