Playwrights Horizons' 2000-2001 mainstage season will include new works by Theresa Rebeck, Kathleen Tolan and Kenneth Lonergan, plus a fourth work to be announced.
According to a spokesman, the Off-Broadway nonprofit, committed to shepherding playwrights and staging new works, will offer Rebeck's comedy, The Butterfly Collection, as the season-opener, followed by Tolan's The Wax, and a yet-untitled play by Lonergan, author of This is Our Youth and The Waverly Gallery. A fourth production will be announced.
Casts, dates and directors have not been announced. The Playwrights season will also include works in the company's studio theatre.
