Heysanna, hosanna, sanna sanna ho -- it's time for Jesus Christ Superstar to return to IL's Pheasant Run Theatre in St. Charles. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's biblical rock opera is directed by the theatre's artistic director, Diana L. Martinez.

Not only is the show, which opens Nov. 14, just in time for the Christmas season, it'll play all the way through Easter: April 12, 1998.

The 1971 musical, which began as a concept rock album, refashions the New Testament story in terms of cultural superstardom and political arm twisting and features such songs as "I Don't Know How To Love Him" and the title anthem.

Jesse Kazemek, who starred in the company's just-ended hit, A Cabaret Tour Of Broadway, stars as Jesus, with Nikkieli DeMone betraying him as Judas. Lara Filip, a Pheasant Run veteran, will be Mary Magdalene, while Brad Lyons, who played Caiaphas in Pheasant Run's 1992 JCS, returns to that role. Also in the cast are Francis Valach (Herod), Tom Hennings (Pilate) and Daniel Linka (Simon). As for the apostles, they're Jeremiah Shannon, David Baca, David Zarbock, Joe Garbe, Brian Hamman, Louie Miller, Peter Robel, Tom Samorian, Ben Stoner, Greg Teghtmeyer, Tony Calzaretta, Dan Salinger and Shawn Sonne. Other cast-members include Carol Bair, Lili-Anne Brown, Kirsten Johnson, Alison Naskrent, Karl Peterson, Jeff Scott, Laura Strimer and Marty Vece.
