News Political Passion Play Kiki & Herb Will Die For You Set for Carnegie Hall, Sept. 19 Kiki and Herb, the beloved downtown duo who bring their song and booze cabaret act to stars and fans alike, head uptown to give their special one-night "farewell performance" in Kiki & Herb Will Die For You.

The one-night-only performance, presented by David J. Foster and Jared Geller, will play at New York's Carnegie Hall, Sept. 19 at 8 PM. Tickets go on sale July 26 at 11 AM.

Following their longest-running and lauded show Coup de Théatre Off-Broadway last year, the team now bring their Will Die for You — a "groundbreaking concert appearance [which] will mark the pair's farewell New York performance (unless you believe in reincarnation)," according to a release.

The show will pair the duo's unique renditions of popular songs ranging from Eminem to Britney Spears to Kate Bush with political barbs and social observations. Old favorites and never-before-heard songs will be included in the "musical retrospective of their extraordinarily glamorous career on the margins of mainstream."

The kooky cabaret couple have previously played New York City venues with productions of Jesus Wept and There's a Stranger in the Manger!

Justin Bond and Kenny Mellman created Kiki & Herb in 1993 and have been embodying their respective alter-egos ever since in various shows. The infamous duo make their way through a number of songs, occasionally taking the off ramp into the brash and boozy bio of the "septuagenarian" (as her press release states) Kiki. As she "drags" us through those unforgettable moments, her shy straight man accompanist Herb tickles the ivories. Tickets to Kiki & Herb Will Die For You at Carnegie Hall, 154 West 57 Street, will be available by phone July 26 at (212) 247-7800. For more information, visit www.kikiandherb.com.
