The Liverpool-born singer, TV personality and businesswoman, who is about to release her debut solo album, follows in the footsteps of Barbara Dickson (who originated the role in the show's original West End production in 1983), Kiki Dee, Carole King, Helen Reddy and, most recently, Spice Girl Melanie C.

Atomic Kitten's debut hit "Right Now" was followed by "Whole Again," which topped the U.K. charts for four weeks and was also number one in Germany (for six weeks) and in 19 countries. They followed this with another number one, "Eternal Flame," and the number one album "Right Now." The band's second album, "Feels So Good," delivered another worldwide number one with "The Tide Is High." The band topped the singles, albums and DVD charts simultaneously, making them the only girl group to ever achieve this feat. To date Atomic Kitten have sold over ten million records worldwide.
