Queen of the Night, the immersive production loosely adapted from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, begins performances New Year's Eve at the Diamond Horseshoe supper club beneath the Paramount Hotel. Directed by Jeremy Sams, Die Fledermaus opens at the Metropolitan Opera Dec. 31. Featuring a revised libretto by Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane, Johann Strauss' opera is set in turn-of-the-century Vienna and stars Tony winner Paulo Szot and Tony nominee Danny Burstein.
