FX has moved the premiere date for the second season of Pose. The series will now return Tuesday, June 11, at 10 PM, instead of the previously announced Sunday, June 9 (the night of the 73rd annual Tony Awards).

Season 2 of the Ryan Murphy-created series, focusing on New York City ball scene through the lens of the Black and Latinx queer community that shaped it, will move the action from the '80s to 1990. The first episode is set the day Madonna released "Vogue," bringing the ball culture staple to the masses.

As recently reported, two-time Tony winner (and recent Olivier winner) Patti LuPone has signed on for an undisclosed role, having previously appeared on Murphy's American Horror Story: Coven and Glee.

She joins a company that includes fellow Tony winner Billy Porter (who earned an Emmy nomination for his performance in the premiere season), New York stage alums Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Hallie Sahar, and Ryan Jamaal Swain, Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, Charlayne Woodard, Dyllon Burnside, Evan Peters, Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek, and Angel Bismark Curiel.
