News Potted Panto Returns to West End for Christmas Season Potted Panto will return to the West End for its third season, beginning performances Dec. 8 prior to an official opening Dec 11 at the Vaudeville Theatre for a run of performances through Jan. 5, 2014.

Performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, and co-written by them with director Richard Hurst, it crams seven classic pantomimes into just 80 minutes. According to press materials, "an astonishing new take on Jeff's favorite panto Aladdin gives the story a whole new twist, and Daisy the Cow from Jack and the Beanstalk gives a heart-rending turn as she's led to market. Not to mention the full-scale versions of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty which see Dan and Jeff trying to work out not only how two people can play seven dwarves, but also which of them will make the prettiest princess."

The show first premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010, and was subsequently Olivier-nominated for Best Entertainment. Clarkson and Turner's previous show Potted Potter has played five fringe seasons in Edinburgh, six runs in London, and two runs at Off-Broadway's Little Shubert Theatre.
