The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District (TS-BID) have issued a traffic alert in connection with President Clinton’s visit to the Theatre District on Nov. 30. The President will attend an event for the G&P Foundation at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Broadway between W. 45 St. and W. 46 St., 5:30 - 8 PM.

Traffic delays and parking irregularities are expected throughout the Times Square area. NYPD barricades are already in place and hotel sources tell Playbill On-Line that W. 45 St. will be blocked later in the afternoon. Theatre sources said they had not received any special instructions but the hotel reports that patrons at the Minskoff Theatre will be directed to enter from the W. 44 St. side of the theatre. Minskoff patrons are advised to allow for additional travel time to the theatre.
