News Prinz, Crane, Surrey, Buckley and More Cast in Paper Mill Lost in Yonkers Michael Bloom, artistic director of the Cleveland Play House, will direct the Paper Mill Playhouse's upcoming production of Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers, which begins previews Feb. 17.

Opening night at the Millburn, NJ, venue is set for Feb. 21; performances will continue through March 14. This is a co-production of Paper Mill, Cleveland Play House and Maltz Jupiter Theatre in Florida.

The cast will be headed by Rosemary Prinz (Grandma), J. Anthony Crane (Louis), Sara Surrey (Bella), John Plumpis (Eddie), Patricia Buckley (Gert), Alex Wyse (Jay) and Maxwell Beer (Arty).

Lost in Yonkers, according to press notes, is described as such: "Set during World War II, brothers Arty and Jay are sent to live with their frightfully intimidating Grandma and sweet but mentally slow Aunt Bella, punctuated by visits from their 'gangster' Uncle Louie. This masterwork is an unsentimental examination of lives in an oppressive household, climaxing with dramatic confrontation between the bitter mother and lonely daughter."

The production will feature scenic design by Michael Schweikhardt, costume design by David Kay Mickelsen, lighting design by Paul Miller and sound design by Keith Kohrs. The production stage manager is Nicole Bouclier.
