PlayBlog Priscilla Lopez and Andrea McArdle Want Tickets to the Tonys A contest launched by the Tony Awards, Macy’s and CBS, in which contestants can upload video of themselves singin’ a show-tune in the hopes of winning tickets to Broadway’s biggest night, is already in full swing. And, some of Broadway’s biggest names seem to want in on the action.


Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez (A Day in Hollywood…, A Chorus Line) and Tony nominee Andrea McArdle (Annie) can be seen going over numbers from their big shows on the contest’s Website with music director, vocal coach and Playbill.com columnist Seth Rudetsky. You can also view a particularly choice entry from one Sonya Meyer, featuring her rendition of “The Lonely Goatherd,” with some surprise cameos from various Broadway stars, in headshot-grafted-onto-goat-puppet form.
