PlayBlog Priscilla Queen of the Desert Performs at Gracie Mansion in Honor of Gay Pride (Video) Cast members from Priscilla Queen of the Desert continued to celebrate their pride all week and performed a number from the new Broadway musical in between their matinee and evening performances June 29 at Gracie Mansion.

Here, NY1 talks to the Priscilla trio, Tony Sheldon, Will Swenson and Nick Adams, about saluting gay pride and representing the LGBT community. The stars are also backed by the rest of the Priscilla company for a performance of "We Belong."

The cast recently participated in New York City's annual Gay Pride Parade on the top of a double-decker bus that made its way throughout the Village June 26. Cast members celebrated the recent advance in marriage equality when the State Senate passed a bill legalizing same-sex marriage.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the new Broadway musical that officially opened at the Palace Theatre March 20, stars Sheldon (Bernadette), Swenson (Tick/Mitzi) and Adams (Adam/Felicia) as "the trio of friends on a heart-warming, uplifting adventure. [They] hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed."
