Priscilla launched a national tour in Minneapolis earlier this winter, and began its Vegas run June 18. Performances were originally scheduled through Aug. 18; however, the engagement has recently been shortened to a five-week run.

"An analysis of ticket sale trends has led producers to adjust the schedule to a more compact five-week run," press representatives said in a statement.

The tour will continue later in August, with previously scheduled dates in San Francisco, Denver, San Diego and more.

Simon Phillips (Love Never Dies) directed the Broadway production. It is written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott. Priscilla has choreography by Ross Coleman.

The cast is headed by Wade McCollum (Tick/Mitzi), Scott Willis (Bernadette) and Bryan West (Adam/Felicia) as the "trio of friends, on a road trip of a lifetime, who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed." Joe Hart plays Bob in a cast that also includes Emily Afton, Nik Alexzander, John Capes, Andrew Chappelle, Shane Davis, Alex DeLeo, Taurean Everett, Christy Faber, Amy Hillner, Bre Jackson, Chris Klink, David Koch, Ralph Meitzler, Alex Ringler, Babs Rubenstein, Travis Taber, Brit West, Will B. Whitesell and Chelsea Zeno.

With over 500 Tony Award-winning costumes, Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical features over 20 dance-floor favorites including “It's Raining Men,” “Finally” and “I Will Survive.”  The musical opened on Broadway March 20, 2011, and played its final performance June 24, 2012, after 23 previews and 526 performances.

The show has musical supervision and arrangements by Stephen "Spud" Murphy, set design by Brian Thomson, costumes by Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner, lighting design by Nick Schlieper, sound design by Jonathan Deans and Peter Fitzgerald, and make-up design by Cassie Hanlon.
