The reading at the Players Club in Manhattan will boast the talents of Harriet Harris, Marc Kudisch and Brad Oscar. Show time is 7 PM.

David Staller, the acclaimed singer-actor who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw offerings, will continue to do so for the upcoming reading.

In Captain Brassbound's Conversion, press notes state, “Captain Brassbound (Marc Kudisch) is an infamous pirate, living his life for revenge. Into his world comes a notorious British lady adventurer (Harriet Harris) who not only takes him on, but the marauding Arab tribes and entire U.S. fleet, as well. This rarely seen Shaw gem has developed a cult following over the years. Come see why.”

The current season will continue Nov. 22 with How He Lied to Her Husband and Dec. 20 with Heartbreak House.

Past participants include Blair Brown, Mark Kudisch, Kerry Butler, Tyne Daly, Jonathan Hadary, Daniel Jenkins, Rebecca Luker, Michael Cerveris, Karen Ziemba, Michele Pawk, Bruce Vilanch, Jack Gilpin and George S. Irving.
