Promises, Promises, based on the classic film "The Apartment" about an advertising employee's rise and romance in 1960s Manhattan, features a book by Neil Simon and a score by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The revival of the 1968 musical starred Sean Hayes, Kristin Chenoweth, Katie Finneran (Who won a Tony Award for her performance and was succeeded by Molly Shannon), Dick Latessa and Tony Goldwyn. The production was directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford.
