After receiving rave reviews last season and recently completing an eastern European tour, Baby Redboots' Revenge starring Sean Sullivan, will play a return engagement at NY's P.S. 122. The solo show, written by Philip-Dimitri Galas, is about a formerly famous child actor, "Baby Fourstrings," whose career has crashed so hard that he now plays bass for a polka band at weddings.

Galas wrote Redboots in 1985, for Sullivan, with the production doing stints on the West Coast and in Canada. It wasn't until the inaugural NY Fringe Festival last year that the piece made its New York debut.

Playwright Galas, brother of shrieking vocalist Diamanda Galas, died in 1995 from AIDS. Sullivan's company, Baby Monster, has brought several Galas pieces to New York including : Performance Hell and Mona Rogers in Person. Baby Monster, based in Toronto, also recently completed a workshop for an upcoming show entitled, Digital Vaudeville.

Baby Redboots Revenge by Philip-Dimitri Galas, plays at NY's P.S. 122, Dec. 3-20. For tickets or more information, call (212) 477-5288.
