Tickets for the 56th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards ceremony are set to go on sale on Monday, May 6 at 10 AM ET.

Those interested in attending this year's ceremony should call Ticketmaster at (212) 307-4544. This season's Tony Awards — which celebrate the best of the Broadway season — will be held on June 2, 2002, at New York's famed Radio City Music Hall, the fifth time the hall has hosted the biggest night of the theatre season.

The American Theatre Wing's 56th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards ceremony will also be broadcast live on television. PBS stations begin the national telecast at 8 PM EST with "The First Ten Awards: Tonys 2002," produced for PBS by Thirteen/WNET New York. CBS will televise "The 2002 Tony Awards" beginning at 9 PM. At press time, no host has been announced.

Radio City Music Hall is located on Sixth Avenue between 50th Street and 51st Street in New York City.
