News Pulitzer Prize Nominee Tanya Barfield and Tony Nominee Leigh Silverman Reunite for Off-Broadway Premiere Women's Project Theatre will present the world premiere of Bright Half Life by Pulitzer Prize nomineeTanya Barfield; Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman (Violet) will direct, marking the third collaboration between the playwright and director.

Starring Rebecca Henderson (Appropriate Behavior) and Rachael Holmes (Ruined), performances will run Feb. 17-March 22 at New York City Center Stage II.

Barfield's new play explores the relationship between two women in love. According to press notes, "Erica meets Vicky. Vicky marries Erica. Lives collide. Rewind. Pause. Fast forward. Bright Half Life is a kaleidoscopic new play about love, skydiving and the infinite moments that make a life together."

The creative team includes set designer Rachel Hauck (This Wide Night), costume designer Emily Rebholz (If/Then), lighting designer Jen Schriever (The Other Josh Cohen) and sound designer Bart Fasbender (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson).

Barfield and Silverman previously partnered on the critically acclaimed plays Blue Door and The Call, both staged at Playwrights Horizons. The former saw Barfield as a nominee for the 2007 Pulitzer Prize.
