"Radio Playbill," a weekly news and entertainment magazine show of theatrical interviews, features and music, is broadcast multiple times each week on Sirius Satellite Radio's Our Time, Stream 131.
A new 30-minute show debuts each Monday, with rebroadcasts throughout the following two weeks. Here is the schedule (all times are Eastern): New show Monday March 22 at 5 PM, Wednesday March 24 at 11 PM, Friday March 26 at 5 AM, Saturday March 27 at 5 PM, and Sunday March 28 at 9 AM. Rebroadcasts continue following the ensuing week’s shows: Monday March 29 at 5:30 PM, Wednesday March 31 at 11:30 PM, Friday April 2 at 5:30 AM, Saturday April 3 at 5:30 PM, and Sunday, April 4 at 9:30 AM.
All the excitement and glamour of the American theatre scene comes across in "Radio Playbill," the first radio project from the creators of Broadway's distinctive programs, and Playbill On-Line, the home of theatre on the internet. Host for the magazine show is Robert Viagas, founding editor of Playbill On-Line and Theatre.com, author of several books on theatre, including "On the Line: The Creation of A Chorus Line" and "The Amazing Story of The Fantasticks," and editor of Louis Botto’s updated book, "At This Theatre."
