News Puppetry of the Penis Will Reveal Itself at Bleecker Street Theatre in July Puppetry of the Penis will be exposed in New York City again. The comedic spectacle of "genital origami," which had two previous engagements Off-Broadway, will begin an eight-week Off-Broadway run July 13 at the Bleecker Street Theatre.

Rich Binning and Gavin Stewart will perform the latest run that promises "new installations." Opening acts will be performed by Amy Schumer and Rachel Feinstein. Puppetry of the Penis will run through Sept. 4.

The latest incarnation promises new acts including Yoda, Sombrero, and E.T., as well as classics like The Pelican, The Windsurfer, The Eiffel Tower, Loch Ness Monster and the Hamburger.

The work was last seen Off-Broadway in an extended 2009 run at the Bleecker. It made its New York debut at the John Houseman Theatre in 2001, where it ran for over a year. Foster Entertainment and Simon Morley present the 2010 New York run.

Simon Morley and David Friend created Puppetry of the Penis in 1996. The work has aroused interest in 14 countries around the world.
