News "Queer as Folk" Star Harrison May Join Broadway's Wicked Randy Harrison, star of Showtime's hit series "Queer As Folk," is likely to make his Broadway debut as Boq in the Tony-nominated musical Wicked.

The representative for the actor told Playbill On-Line that Harrison has been offered the role of munchkin Boq, but is still in the midst of negotiations. The musical's spokesperson also confirmed that the producers are currently in talks with the young actor. Harrison would be a temporary replacement for Christopher Fitzgerald next month, while Fitzgerald heads to the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Randy Harrison, who made his Off-Broadway debut in the MCC production of A Letter from Ethel Kennedy, also starred in the International Fringe Festival production of Deviant. His other theatrical credits include Shopping and Fucking, Violet, Hello Again, Children of Eden and 1776.
