Rachel Bloom continues to make musical comedy gold on The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, currently in its third season. Now, the Golden Globe winner will bring the show on the road with her co-stars. An eight-city music tour will launch March 31, according to Entertainment Weekly.
In addition to Bloom, series regulars Vincent Rodriguez III, Scott Michael Foster, Pete Gardner, co-creator Aline Brosh McKenna, and songwriters Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen will be among the participants. The tour will play Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale February 14.
“In the course of 44 episodes, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has featured over 100 original songs,” McKenna told EW. “It’s so exciting that fans will get to see up close the phenomenal live performing talents of our cast, led by Rachel Bloom, and hear the amazing songwriting of Rachel, Adam, and Jack.”
Since the premiere of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Bloom has appeared on the New York stage in numerous concerts and cabarets, including the 2017 Manhattan Concert Productions presentation of Crazy for You, which is eyeing a Broadway transfer.
