The Old Vic is the venue for a series of masterclasses run by RADA Enterprises Ltd.

RADA Enterprises Ltd, a separate company from the charity RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, one of London's best-known drama schools), has been set up to run a series of masterclasses.

These, which will take place at the Old Vic during the day, last several days each, and will be taking place over a period of eighteen months. They are designed to introduce people (particularly the young) to the world of theatre. Given the educational ambitions and sense of widening the appeal of theatre that the Old Vic's most famous owner, Lilian Baylis, had, this makes the Old Vic a highly appropriate venue.

Profits from the classes, which are taken by tutors and theatre professionals associated with RADA, will go to supporting the drama school, which recently spent several million pounds improving its Gower Street home near the University of London, and help ensure that RADA is able to continue to fund its various bursaries to support students who would otherwise find the fees impossible to meet.
