News Radio City Christmas Spectacular to Feature Brand-New Number for Rockettes The Rockettes will debut a new number in the 2013 production of the annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Featuring new special effects, the number will "transform the Great Stage into a glistening winter wonderland," press notes state.

Performed at Radio City Music Hall, the Christmas Spectacular will also feature digital projections and the world's largest-flown indoor LED screen. The production will include the traditional performances "Living Nativity" and "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" as well as the new number that will highlight the technique and athleticism of the Rockettes.

"The magic of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular brings joy and happiness to generations of families each holiday season and we are extremely proud to present the most dynamic Christmas Spectacular yet," Don Simpson, executive vice president of productions, MSGE, said in a statement. "We are committed to providing audiences with a one-of-a-kind, memorable experience that begins the moment they arrive at Radio City so that fans of all ages look forward to continuing the tradition of returning with their families year after year."

Tickets go on sale May 21, and the production runs Nov. 8-Dec. 30.
