Mungioli/Mark Simon winning awards for Ragtime and The Last Night Of Ballyhoo, respectively. Most of the categories are for film and television, but here are the two theatrical categories:
Outstanding Achievement In Theatre Casting - Musical:
winner: Arnold J. Mungioli & Mark Simon, Ragtime.
Nominees: Stuart Howard/Amy Schecter (Chicago national tour); Jay Binder (Promises, Promises, NYC), Geoffrey Johnson/Vincent G. Liff, Tara Jayne Rubin & Andrew Zerman (Steel Pier); Julie Hughes/Barry Moss/Jessica Gilburne (Titanic).

Outstanding Achievement In Theatre Casting - Drama/Comedy:
winner: Jay Binder (The Last Night Of Ballyhoo)
Nominees: Daniel Swee, (An American Daughter); Daniel Swee (The Little Foxes); Bernard Telsey (Present Laughter); Bernard Telsey (The Young Man From Atlanta).

The Artios Awards are distributed by the Casting Society Of America. On hand for the ceremony at the Harley Davidson Cafe were Betty Buckley (Triumph Of Love), Deborah Gibson (Grease!), the casts of Titanic, and Ballyhoo, Kevin Gray (The King And I), Erica Slezak, Emily Skinner & Alice Ripley (Side Show).
