The New York daily also says that cast members from the now-shuttered The Scottsboro Boys will perform a medley of that show's "Commencing in Chattanooga" and "Go Back Home."

Discussions are also ongoing with the producers of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark to feature a performance from that new musical led by the show's composers, Bono and The Edge. The Post also reports that although Priscilla Queen of the Desert did not receive a Best Musical Tony nomination, the production may get the chance to perform on the awards ceremony.

As previously reported, The Book of Mormon, which was nominated for 14 Tony Awards, the most of any show of the season, will offer "I Believe," led by Tony-nominated cast member Andrew Rannells.

The 2011 Tony Awards will air on CBS June 12 at 8 PM ET live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Neil Patrick Harris hosts.

The evening will feature appearances by Daniel Radcliffe, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Rock, Alec Baldwin, Samuel L. Jackson, Kelsey Grammer, Viola Davis, Vanessa Redgrave, James Earl Jones, Harry Connick, Jr., Christie Brinkley, David Hyde Pierce, Marg Helgenberger, Matthew Broderick, Angela Lansbury, Jim Parsons, Joel Grey, Patrick Wilson, Robert Morse and many others. The 2011 Tony Awards will be executive-produced by Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment.

The awards, Broadway's highest honor, have been broadcast on CBS since 1978. This will be the first year that the show will be broadcast from The Beacon Theatre, which is part of the Madison Square Garden portfolio of venues. (As previously reported, Radio City Music Hall, the home of the Tony Awards for the past several years, is unavailable for this year's awards show.)
