Thoroughly Modern Millie's Sheryl Lee Ralph and a host of other gals will take part in the 12th anniversary concert "Divas . . . Simply Singing!" on Oct. 26.
Held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, those women expected to perform include such Broadway names as Liz Callaway, Loretta Devine, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jenifer Lewis, Valarie Pettiford as well as Tisha Campbell Martin, E.G.Daily, Rebekah Del Rio, Moe Daniels, Joanna, Alexis, Elizabeth Berkley, Marilyn Scott and China Forbes of Pink Martini.

About her annual concert, Ralph said, "As much as we all love this very special night we spend together each and every year, I wish there was no need for the show. I wish that there was no need to continue to raise AIDS awareness. I wish that more people got the message and understood that condoms should be a part of sex no matter how hot the moment and without them it's just Russian roulette and you are the target. I wish that sex was something we talked more honestly and openly about with each other, not just for carnal knowledge but for the necessary information that might just save a life."
