Based on Woolf's essay of the same name, Room of One's Own is centered around the author's relationship to the young women in the attendance at the 1928 lectures that inspired Woolf's writing of the essay. Other writings by Woolf include "Orlando," "To the Lighthouse" and "Mrs. Dalloway."

Ms. Randolph has twice played writer Woolf -- in Virginia and in Shakespeare & Company's A Room of One's Own. Randolph's other credits include The Fiery Rain, Mrs. Klein and Duet for One.

Alison Ragland designed the costumes and Mark Hwang the sound.

Tickets are $25 and available by calling (212) 388-8188. The Salon is located at 432 East 91st Street between 1st and York. -- By Christine Ehren
