Lisa Peterson, who has been developing the piece with over a dozen writers the past few seasons, will direct the Off-Broadway run that will officially open Oct. 4 for a run through Oct. 29 at 59E59 Theaters.
Motherhood Out Loud has contributions from Leslie Ayvazian, David Cale, Jessica Goldberg, Beth Henley, Lameece Issaq, Claire LaZebnik, Lisa Loomer, Michele Lowe, Marco Pennette, Theresa Rebeck, Luanne Rice, Annie Weisman and Cheryl L. West.
Graff (City of Angels, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof) and Ekulona (Well, The Thugs) appeared in a 2009 developmental run of Motherhood at the Bay Street Theatre. Lecesne (Boys in the Band) was part of the Hartford Stage premiere and recent Geffen Playhouse run (under the title In Mother Words). Bacon (Rock 'n' Roll, Happy Now?) is new to the production.
