Singing actress Ellen Greene will re-create her signature role as the lovably ditzy, golden-hearted Audrey in three performances of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors July 1-2 at New York's City Center, part of the Encores! Off-Center summer season. Greene, who helped create her role Off-Broadway with Menken and Ashman, later reprised her work in Los Angeles, London and on screen in the Frank Oz-directed feature film.
