News Ravenhill's Mother Clap Moving to the Aldwych

Following a successful run at the National Theatre, Mark Ravenhill's play with music, Mother Clap's Molly House, is transferring to the Aldwych.

Previews start on Feb. 6 with a press night date yet to be confirmed, but expected to be either Feb. 8 or 13.
Most of the cast will be the same as at the National: details will be given when they are released over the next few days.
Mother Clap's Molly House looks at gay life in the 18th and early 21st centuries and features a lot of cross-dressing. It is an essentially comic piece which vividly recreates a largely forgotten period of social history while presenting - and implicitly criticizing - the modern gay lifestyle as lived by fashionable, wealthy men in central London.
