Produced by Broadway actress Anjali Bhimani (Bombay Dreams, Metamorphoses) and directed by playwright Smith with Anjali Bhimani, previews will begin July 13 with an official opening scheduled for July 15. Performances will continue through Aug. 27.
The cast will be headed by Ray Abruzzo ("The Sopranos") with Marc Aden Gray (Of Mice and Men, Proof) and Open Fist ensemble members Alex Pierce, Maxie Solters and Stephanie Terronez.
D. Tucker Smith is also the author of The Great Game, Patriot Act, The Knockout Suit and Overnight Delivery.
The play is the first of three full-length world premieres to debut this summer at the Open Fist's First Look Festival, a two-month celebration of new works.
