Atlantic Theater Company celebrated the official opening of the world premiere of Blue Ridge by Abby Rosebrock January 7. Set in Southern Appalachia and directed by Taibi Magar, Tony nominee Marin Ireland stars as a high school teacher who, after lashing out at her unethical boss, is sentenced to a church-sponsored halfway house.
The cast also features Kristolyn Lloyd (Paradise Blue, Dear Evan Hansen), Kyle Beltran (Fire in Dreamland, The Amateurs), Peter Mark Kendall (Chicago Med), Nicole Lewis (Bedlam's Sense and Sensibility), and Chris Stack (Ugly Lies the Bone).

Performances of Blue Ridge began December 12, 2018, in Atlantic's Linda Gross Theater. The run is scheduled through January 26.
