The reviews are in for the London production of The Height of the Storm, a new play by Florian Zeller (The Father), translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Jonathan Kent, now playing at Wyndham’s Theatre.

The production, which stars Olivier winners Jonathan Pryce and Dame Eileen Atkins, began its limited engagement October 2 ahead of an October 9 opening.

In The Height of the Storm, Pryce and Atkins star as André and Madeleine, respectively, a couple in love for over 50 years. As their daughters visit, something feels unusual. A bunch of flowers arrive, but who sent them? A woman from the past turns up, but who is she? And, why does André feel like he isn’t there at all?
