Canadian singer Rebecca Caine and tenor Brent Barret will offer The Best of Broadway to Barcelona--a concert of songs from various musicals, Mar. 20-21.

Caine played the role of Cosette in the original production of Les Miserables in London ,1985. She has also played leading roles in other musicals such as Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, and Phantom of the Opera.

Barret has performed in plays such as Grand Hotel - The Musical, West Side Story, Dance a Little Closer, Brigadoon, and Candide in various theaters in England, the United States, and New Zealand.

The Best of Broadway is directed by David A. Miller, and the song repertoire is selected from shows by Leonard Berstein (Candide, West Side Story, and On The Town), George Gershwin (Porgy & Bess), Rodgers and Hammerstein (The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Carrousel), Frederick Loewe (My Fair Lady), Andrew Lloyd Weber (Phantom of the Opera), Jerome Kern (Showboat) and Julie Styne (Gypsy).

The show will be accompanied by the Barcelona Symphonic Orchestra as part of the Music from Shows festival and will take place at Barcelona's Music Palace. The Best of Broadway, runs at Palau de la Musica of Barcelona. March 20 at 9 P.M. and 21 at 7 P.M.
