Wendy McClellan will direct Jean-Paul Sartre's No Exit, which will be presented Sept. 19 at 7:30 PM at the Theater at St. Clement’s. The cast will include Pine, Preston, Adam Green and Kathryn Meisle. According to Red Bull, No Exit is "the quintessential existentialist play - a passionate and witty examination of free will, personal responsibility, and eternal punishment."
Red Bull artistic director Jesse Berger will direct a special Oct. 10 benefit reading of Ben Jonson's Volopone at 7:30 PM at Playwrights Horizons. Joining Easton and Urie are F. Murray Abraham, Helen Carey and Jay O. Sanders for the "the greatest of the Jacobean satires [which] skewers humanity’s greed and hypocrisy with guffaws and hilarity." The special benefit will feature a post-performance reception with Emily Bergl, Robert Cuccioli, Everett Quinton, Matthew Rauch, Laila Robins, Derek Smith and John Douglas Thompson.
