It’s that time again! What’s better than the fall with those first cooler days and chillier nights? The sweaters and tweed jackets come out—a stylish scarf and some cashmere, and it’s off to Broadway and the openings! And last night at Studio 54, a new show opened that was all about the change of seasons and a celebration too! Holiday Inn, a reimagining of the great Irving Berlin musical from 1942, hit the Great White Way and folks flexed their fashion-muscles for the premiere!

Christy Altomare was a petite bundle of blue skies in that sweet little cocktail dress in, (what else?) Sky-Blue! Perfect choice for her sparkly eyes, with a nude heel and the right clutch!...and I loved the simplicity of the style with just the right flair in the skirt. A gal doesn’t have to overdo it to be chic!

Laura Osnes & Nathan Johnson Will this couple ever show up at an opening night and get it wrong? This tag-team of style always looks fabulous! Laura in her iridescent fuchsia-and-coral-on-black plum floral with those sharp little cap sleeves and Nathan in a cobalt suit with a midnight buttoned-up-to-the-collar shirt! When are they just going to start their own clothing line?? A++++

Janine DiVita was a refreshing last breeze of S=summer in that white flowy jumpsuit. The halter top and plunging neckline, and of course that gorgeous blonde hair all defied the boring old convention of “no white after Labor Day”! When a girl looks this good, to hell with those stuffy old rules!

Corbin Bleu & Bryce Pinkham showed up at the party the way all leading men should! Handsome, stylish and tailored to a “T”! Bryce in his dark rich rust suit with just a hint of shimmer and a boldly striped but tie-less shirt and Corbin playing the traditional card in a glorious graphite double-breasted suit, again with a little shimmer and a micro-check. And a black turtle-neck! A total throwback to Halston! Yes!!

Megan Hilty! Right on trend in a black and gold metallic floral that reminded us of rich Chinese lacquer! The pleats kept the light skipping over the entire ensemble and completely complimented Megan’s blonde to-the-shoulder locks. Lovely as usual!

Megan Sikora, (okay folks, let’s keep all the Megans straight here!) Megan Sikora was one of the three muses last night for designer-extraordinaire Randi Rahm. Here in a sage green fit-and-flair of tulle with scattered Swarovski crystals and a sweet little satin bow at the waist. The color, the silhouette, the embellishments. Wow!

Megan Lawrence, again in a Randi Rahm, this one in blush and bold floral silk organza that caught the breeze. The strapless bustline and the giant blossoms in theprint reminded us that summer may have been only a week or so past, but Megan’s chic peek-toe booties and black patent and jet-crystalled belt said “Don’t be fooled! It’s fall!”

Lora Lee Gayer! Completing her trifecta last night, Randi Rahm put Lora in a breathtaking black tulle tea-length dress covered in gold hand-beading in a harlequin diamond pattern starting at the shoulders and scattering down the whole length to below the knee. The silhouette and the sleeve, as well as Lora’s heels and her Veronica Lake hair were pure 1940s glamour!
