Inertia Theatre will present Keith Reddin's dark comedy, Life During Wartime, Aug. 25-Sept. 10 at the Currican Theatre in Manhattan.
Kevin Kittle directs the play about a young employee of a home security firm who falls in love with a client and discovers his employer's plan to plunder the homes they are meant to protect. It is one of Reddin's plays on the theme of violence in America, according to production notes.
The Off-Off-Broadway company includes Eric Alperin, Nathan Flower, Calvin Gladen, Danielle Liccardo, Aaron Stanford, Miss Thomas and Eric Walton.
Designers are Eric Walton (set), Frank Chavez (costume), Michael Reese (lighting) and Susan Williams (sound). Inertia was founded in 1998 by Danielle Liccardo (artistic director) and Calvin Gladen (managing director).
