Reduced Shakespeare Company, the comedy troupe who reduced Shakespeare, the U.S. and God to their basic elements in The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abriged), The Complete History of America (abridged) and The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged), have created a new show. The Reducers, set for a Los Angeles debut at the Bang Theater in June, will travel the U.S. in 2002-03, including stops in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
In this latest romp from Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, the Reduced Shakespeare Company dissects the entire world's literary canon. In a little more than a hour and a half, the troupe will traverse mankind's greatest works from the short and sweet sayings of Confucius to the volumous volumes of Charles Dickens and Marcel Proust.
