"In a nation in the grip of revolution," according to press notes, "convict Jean Valjean is on the run. Hunted by the policeman Javert for breaking his parole, Valjean must leave his past behind and keep his vow to raise the young orphan Cosette. But with revolution in the air and Javert closing in, Jean Valjean has no choice but to fight for his life and sacrifice everything for the people he loves. Watch and listen time and again to the magnificent, Tony Award-winning score as sung by stars forever linked with these roles."
