We Rise: A Celebration of Resistance will take place August 13 at the Delacorte in Central Park.

Goldsberry and Oh join the previously announced Shaina Taub, co-creator and one of the stars of this season's Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, as well as singer Valerie June, performer and activist Shakina Nayfack, the Resistance Revival Chorus, and musical group Flor de Toloache.

The event will also feature performers Jojo Abot, Ayo, Abby Dobson, and Deva Mahal; actor and model Indya Moore; poet Angel Nafis; activist Jess Morales; and members of the Rebel Verses Ensemble from Developing Artists.

“It has been a joy collaborating with our friends at the Resistance Revival Chorus,” said Public Theater Director of Special Artistic Projects Stephanie Ybarra. “Women have been at the center of resistance and social justice movements throughout history—it’s thrilling to honor and celebrate that legacy with an evening amplifying the voices of female artists and activists.”

Tickets to We Rise: A Celebration of Resistance will be distributed, two per person, at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park beginning at noon August 13. For more information visit PublicTheater.org.
