The film features a number of familiar Off-Broadway faces, including Camryn Manheim (1995's Missing Persons; Wake Up, I'm Fat, Sin), Kathleen Chalfant (Nine Armenians, Angels In America), David Drake (The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me), and John Cameron Mitchell (The Destiny Of Me).

David Searching will be shown June 6, 6 PM, at the Public Theatre as part of the 9th annual New York Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. Also shown at the Festival (June 10) will be Ronnie Larsen's look at the gay adult film industry, Shooting Porn, a documentary based on the same themes as his Off-Broadway comedy Making Porn.
