Repairs at Paris’ Mogador Theatre will extend into summer 2017 following a fire that broke out in the theatre’s basement September 25.
The blaze put the Paris premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera in limbo. The production was to open October 13 featuring Broadway actress Sierra Boggess as Christine.
It would have marked the first time the musical would have been presented in French.

The fan convention has also announced a panel on queer representation in theatre with L Morgan Lee and Roger Q. Mason.
The Broadway favorites will be joined by Peloton's Christine D'Ercole and Leading Lady Fitness' Steph Wilberding.
A Strange Loop, SIX, and Beetlejuice are among the spotlighted shows.
