News Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Offering Discounted Tix for St. Joan, Miracle Worker and Jekyll The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis will offer a one-day discounted ticket sale for its productions of Saint Joan, The Miracle Worker and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on Jan. 2, 2009.

Beginning at 12:01 AM on Jan. 2, 2009, the Rep will release $24 tickets for 24 selected performances (8 performances per show) until midnight. All available unsold seats will be offered in the discounted ticket sale.

"With the current financial crisis, we know St. Louisans are striving to make every dollar count," said Rep artistic director Steven Woolf in a statement. "This unique opportunity is our way to lighten the load a bit, and to provide a chance to see three truly brilliant and exciting plays at an unbeatable price. It's the perfect way to enjoy a night out or to introduce friends to the experience of live theatre at The Rep."

Paul Mason Barnes directs George Bernard Shaw's Saint Joan, starring Tarah Flanagan and Bobby Steggert, that runs Jan. 7-Feb. 1, 2009. Susan Gregg directs William Gibson's classic The Miracle Worker, running Feb. 11-March 8, 2009. Jeffrey Hatcher's stage adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, under the direction of Edward Stern, will run March 18-April 12, 2009.
