News Richard Greenberg's Hurrah At Last Premieres in CA, May 29 COSTA MESA, CA -- The world premiere of Richard Greenberg's Hurrah At Last, a comedy about a catastrophic holiday gathering in which a novelist comes to terms with his mortality, his friends and his family, will be presented at South Coast Repertory on May 29.

COSTA MESA, CA -- The world premiere of Richard Greenberg's Hurrah At Last, a comedy about a catastrophic holiday gathering in which a novelist comes to terms with his mortality, his friends and his family, will be presented at South Coast Repertory on May 29.

Directed by David Warren, the play will run through June 28. In the cast are Judy Blazer, George Coe, Dori Brenner, Peter Frechette, Ileen Getz, Frederick Weller and Gareth Williams. All are making SCR debuts, except Frechette.

Greenberg's Three Days of Rain was a finalist for the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and he was recently honored along with Arthur Miller as a recipient of the PEN playwrighting award. Rain won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle's Ted Schmitt Award for Best New Play of 1997.

Performances are Tues.-Fri. at 8 PM; Sat. at 2.30 & 8 PM; Sun. at 2.30 & 7.30 PM. Tickets are $28-$43. SCR is located at 655 Town Center Drive. Call (714) 708-5555.
