Andrea Burns, Keith Byron Kirk, Max Von Essen and Donna Lynne Champlin are among the performers who will offer songs by a handful of up-n-coming composers at the York Theatre's July 1 benefit "Lucky."

Hosted by Richard Kind — the new star of Broadway's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife — the 8 PM benefit will feature songs from Bat Boy's Laurence O'Keefe as well as new tunes by writers Georgia Stitt, Jennifer Giering, Lance Horne, Chris Miller and Randy Redd. Other performers taking part in the event include Angela Robinson, Blair Ross, Robin Skye, Kirsten Wyatt, Jonathan Sandler, Jessica Vosk, Jocelyn Rubin, Philip Dorian McAdoo and Brendan O'Malley.

Andrea Burns has been seen onstage in The Full Monty, Parade, Saturday Night and Songs for a New World. Keith Byron Kirk's credits include A New Brain, Parade and The Civil War. Max Von Essen, who is currently appearing in the Paper Mill production of My Fair Lady, will star in the upcoming new Broadway musical Dance of the Vampires. Donna Lynne Champlin, who has appeared in Three, By Jeeves and James Joyce's The Dead, will be a part of the upcoming production of Hollywood Arms.

"Lucky" tickets are priced between $25 and $50 and are available by calling (212) 560-4810; $10 student tickets will be available at the door the night of the show. The York Theatre/The Theatre at Saint Peter's is located at 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street in New York City.

All proceeds from the one-night-only concert will benefit DreamYard, a nonprofit organization dedicated to working in public schools where there is a need for arts education. Go to www.dreamyard.com for more information. —By Andrew Gans
