News Richard M. Parison, Jr. Will Be New Executive Director of Richmond CenterStage Foundation Richmond CenterStage Foundation announced the selection of Richard M. Parison, Jr. as its new executive director on Oct. 14. Parison will begin work at the theatre Nov. 1.

Parison has served as the producing director at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA, since 2008. He has also worked in Philadelphia at Prince Music Theater and Walnut Street Theater, as well as at the Great Lakes Theater Festival in Cleveland, OH.

As executive director, he will serve as the chief executive officer of CenterStage Foundation and oversee the development, programming, marketing and arts education activities of Richmond CenterStage.

The performing arts venue, which seats nearly 1,800, is located at 600 E. Grace Street in Richmond.
