A memorial service for actor Richard Woods will be held 2 PM March 30 at Irish Repertory Theatre, 132 W. 22nd Street in Manhattan. Mr. Woods died on Jan. 16.
The possible scheduled speakers will include Page Johnson, Marian Seldes, Betty Miller, Clifford Stevens and others. A complete list will be announced as the date approaches.

Mr. Woods, a stage actor with a long list of Broadway credits, died on Jan. 16 at the Englewood, NJ, hospital, according to press spokesman Bill Schelble. He was 77.
Mr. Woods' many New York theatre jobs included roles in You Can't Take It With You, Sail Away, Coco, Design for Living, The Father, Man and Superman and The Show-Off. He starred in the short-lived thriller Murder Among Friends in 1975 and later that season replaced Joseph Maher in the Broadway revival of The Royal Family with Eva LeGallienne and Rosemary Harris. Mr. Woods starred in another, rather more successful, murder mystery in 1980, as part of the original cast of Ira Levin's Deathtrap. He was also in the original casts of Noel Coward's musical Sail Away, with Elaine Stritch, and Alan Jay Lerner and Andre Previn's Coco.
He performed Off-Broadway in The Miracle in 1960 and in A.R. Gurney's The Old Boy Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons in 1991.
Mr. Woods had a special connection with the APA-Phoenix theatre, starring in more than 30 shows from 1962 to 1969.
Regionally, his work was seen at Long Wharf, Yale Repertory and Williamstown Theatre Festival. His film credits includes the Coen Brothers' "Miller's Crossing" and "The Hudsucker Proxy," as well as "Lolita" and "In and Out."
He is survived by two nieces, a nephew and a step-sister.
