The U.S. premiere of Ridley's 90-minute drama began performances Jan. 14 and will run through Feb. 8 under the direction of Ludovica Villar-Hauser. Elbrick (Coram Boy) and Morton (Taboo) lead a cast that also features Alexa Kelly and Victor Villar-Hauser.

Leaves of Glass, according to press notes, "chronicles the slow disintegration of the relationship between Stephen (Villar-Hauser), a man with what seems like an enviably stable, have-it-all life and his younger brother Barry (Morton) an alcoholic painter with mental health issues. At the core of this fraternal meltdown is the haunting memory of their father's suicide at a young age, an act of selfish violence that proves to be just as responsible for the older brother's functionality as it is for the younger sibling’s dysfunction."

Leaves of Glass has set design by Mark Symczak, lighting design by Douglas Filomena and costume design and set decoration by Christopher Lione.

Ridley's plays include Vincent River, The American Dreams, Apocalyptica, The Pitchfork Disney, Ghost from a Perfect Place and The Chain Play.

Leaves of Glass is presented by the Origin Theatre Company and Stiff Upper Lip, in association with the Villar-Hauser Theatre Development Fund.
