Irish and Russian dancers from Riverdance will be at the U.N. on April 26 to perform at the opening of an exhibit marking the 15th Anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster.
According to production notes, “United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan invited the Irish-based Chernobyl Children’s Project to exhibit photographs, sculpture, paintings and film that tell the stories of people living in the world’s most radioactive environment.”
The public exhibit, "Black Wind/White Land-Living with Chernobyl," runs from April 26 through May 27.
